We are seeking to appoint a Librarian to join St Joseph's College on a permanent contract for a September start during term-time only and staff training/inset days. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the school library, ensuring it is kept in good order and selecting library resources to cover the full age range of pupils. Excellent communication skills are required as well as a warm and helpful manner. The post holder will have library experience and have knowledge of appropriate literature for young people.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, together with strong ICT skills, especially with online resources and digital research tools. An understanding of Library management systems would be an advantage.
