Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Newcastle Under Lyme
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 - 8 am start
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Workchain is currently looking to recruit a HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Newcastle. This is a temporary position with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
- Adhering to all relevant driving laws and regulations
- Providing excellent customer service to clients
- Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
