Job Overview:

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead for the Ward and Outpatients departments to head up the clinical teams within a 7-bed, 2-theatre facility. This role is ideal for a Clinical Supervisor or Ward Sister with robust experience in legislative and regulatory compliance, looking to advance their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Manage, lead, and develop clinical practice within the hospital. Line manage and lead clinical teams and services, ensuring high standards of patient care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the healthcare regulatory agenda and mechanisms, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Hands-on Approach: Adopt a hands-on approach in all clinical areas to support your teams, setting the benchmark for excellent patient care.
  • Team Motivation: Motivate, stabilize, engage, and recognize team efforts, driving standards of care with a passion for providing excellent care.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with doctors and external bodies, understanding and addressing the clinical challenges facing the hospital.
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Implement evidence-based practices in a clinical setting.

Requirements:

  • Professional Background: Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a strong clinical background.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of clinical management experience.
  • Skills: Proven management and leadership capabilities, confident communication skills, and the ability to manage and influence teams.
  • Values: A leader who embraces the organization's vision and values.

Working Hours:

  • Rostered to work on the Ward or in Outpatients for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, with weekend availability.
