Role: Regional Accountant - Property Development

Hybrid working: 3/2 split in the office. Office locations flexible between (Ealing, Stratford or Watford).

Salary: £55,000 - £63,000

Cedar is supporting a market leading property development business for a Regional Accountant hire. The role will sit within the London and Southern Division and will also liaise closely with the group function. The Regional Accountant will report directly into the Regional Finance Director and work closely with the Regional MD. The role is operating a hybrid working policy, based 3 days a week in a London office of choice. The role incorporates a really broad split of financial reporting / analysis and commentary alongside other ad hoc responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intelligent analysis and provide commentary to queries from Group and Regional Managing Directors.
  • Evaluate and determine appropriate responses to forecasting inquiries. Analysing regional budgets and forecasting.
  • Prepare and manage monthly financial reports and related processes.
  • Utilise and manage financial systems, with a strong understanding of company software.
  • Address and resolve ad hoc financial queries and issues.
  • Coordinate and complete quarterly and half-year financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and processing.
  • Business Partnering with Group departments to support financial decision-making.

Application Criteria:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified preferred.
  • A strong basis of technical understanding for accurate financial reporting.
  • Driven and happy working with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Property or similar industry experience is not necessary but is preferential.
