Position: Full-Time Primary School Teacher (Year 1 & Year 2)

Duration: September 2024 - February 2025
About the Role:
Aspire People is delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Primary School Teacher for a lovely school in Gloucester. This full-time, long-term position will involve teaching both Year 1 and Year 2 classes, each with 30 enthusiastic pupils. The role will commence in September 2024 and continue through to February 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage and support pupils with behavioural issues, ensuring a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
- Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work to meet their individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support each child's educational journey.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1) pupils.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to address and support behavioural issues effectively.
- A commitment to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
