Project manger - IT
London - Hybrid (3 office days)
I am currently working with a London market specialty insurer who are going through a transformation of their IT capabilities. This client is fast paced and looking to deliver change quickly and to a high quality.
This client is looking for a project manager skilled in delivering across multiple facets of the IT sphere. You will take ownership of delivery of projects within agreed time, scope, cost and quality across both technology and business related projects. This job involves taking on responsibilities working with infrastructure, development, security and 3rd parties, working collaboratively with vendor management and procurement teams to onboard new suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Support improvements across the technology department
- Develop business cases and manage projects end-to-end and within timeline, scope, cost and quality
- Mange internal and 3rd party resources to ensure maximum efficiency
- Identify and report on project risks and issues to reduce impact, ensure company Governance is adhered to
- Delivery of large and complex projects
- Support in the creation and enhancements of project management processes
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience delivering IT projects across multiple domains within a fast paced environment
- Knowledge and experience of the insurance domain (London specialty market preferred)
- Understanding and ability to resolve complex technical issues that face the global business
- Experience delivering projects within a global environment with distributed stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting and long lasting relationships with stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- MS office and project management systems knowledge
- Qualifications: Prince2, PMI, MSP or P30
