Description
Responsibilities of the Retail Marketing Manager include:
- Develop and implement B2C marketing strategies that align with the company's vision.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement.
- Analyse market trends and competitors' activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage marketing budget and ensure all activities deliver a strong return on investment.
- Drive the growth of the company's product portfolio through effective shopper marketing.
- Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals to achieve their best work.
- Work closely with retail customer counterparts to drive product launches and incentive programmes
- Report on marketing performance and share insights with senior management.
Profile
A successful Retail Marketing Manager should have:
- A degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
- Proven experience in a B2C Marketing role within the Consumer sector ideally with exposure to specialist retailers including B&Q, Homebase, DIY Retail and Screwfix.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A good understanding of shopper marketing and customer engagement strategies.
- Able to travel into the office 3 days a week in Lichfield
