Our client, an innovative engineering company based in Scunthorpe, is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance department and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Processing invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders
- Reconciling bank statements and assisting with month-end procedures
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and budgets
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve any finance-related issues
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and positive attitude
