Science Teacher - Tameside - January start
Prospero Teaching are supporting a client school in Tameside who are recruiting for a temporary teacher of Science to join them on a full time basis from January until July 2025, this may continue until December 2025.
For the duration of this role you will be teaching KS3 & KS4 classes of varying academic abilities and you will be expected to deliver engaging lessons that will inspire the students you teach. You will also be required to fully immerse yourself into the department and help with planning and marking as well as attending departmental meetings and being available for parents evenings as and when they arise. Please do indicate which science is your specialism.
About the successful Science Teacher:
Hold QTS or QTLS.
Hold a relevant Science-related degree.
Recent experience teaching at least 1 science subject in a UK school
You will have excellent classroom and behaviour management.
You will be proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.
Have safeguarding & FGM training certificate issued in the last year
Have Prevent awareness training certificate issued in the last 3 years
Training can be provided by Prospero Teaching
