I am on the lookout for a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to join our team in London. This pivotal role ensures the seamless operation of my clients office by managing facilities services and maintaining our high standards. If you have a background in facilities management with a knack for supplier relationship management, we want to hear from you.
**Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Oversee contracts for building maintenance, repairs, mail, stationery, archiving, cleaning, and other services.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and maintain office equipment.
- Supervise the Facilities Assistant to ensure efficient distribution of packages, mail, and files.
- Act swiftly in response to emergencies and urgent office issues.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Uphold Health & Safety standards, conduct inductions, and perform DSE assessments.
- Coordinate office relocations and liaise with IT for equipment setup.
- Prepare meeting rooms and maintain management spreadsheets.
- Tackle ad hoc projects and duties as necessary.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in contract management and supplier relationships.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Desirable First Aid/Fire Marshal experience.
- In-depth knowledge of health & safety policies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
- Outstanding organisational and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and team collaboration.
