Functional Skills Tutor - £28,800 per annum - Southampton, England - Benefits Package
Are you a qualified Functional Skills Tutor with experience in delivering Math and English up to level 2?
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Functional Skills Tutor who will be responsible for delivering English and Math Functional Skills qualifications at level 1 and level 2. These sessions will be delivered in person, to apprentices who are working towards their military qualifications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching English and Math Functional Skills at levels 1 and 2.
- Provide engaging onsite sessions.
- Engage in remote teaching support.
- Ensure apprentice e-portfolio records are kept up to date.
- Provide relevant Functional Skills statistical data to the management team.
- Follow appropriate Quality Assurance and protocols.
Your experience & qualifications will include:
- Relevant teaching qualification e.g., PTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLS
- A minimum level 2 qualification in English and Math
- Experience of delivering Functional Skills up to level 2
- Experience of providing face to face and remote support to learners
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic
