An esteemed college in Nuneaton is seeking a dynamic and inspirational Community Engagement Officer to join their newly established community team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting various functions such as school liaison, careers, social media, and building relationships within the community.
Day-to-day of the role:
- School Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with local schools, conduct outreach, collect feedback, and coordinate events.
- Event Planning: Organise and execute college events, manage logistics, and implement marketing strategies to promote events.
- Social Media: Create engaging content, implement social media strategies, engage with the online community, and track performance metrics.
- B2B Coordination: Develop business partnerships, network at industry events, create proposals, and manage business accounts.
- Quality/Management: Report to the College Community Lead, participate in professional development, and contribute to the College's self-assessment report.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- GCSE English and Maths as a minimum educational standard.
- A-Level or equivalent education is desirable.
- Experience working in an educational setting.
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Proficiency in event planning and execution.
- Social media content creation and strategy implementation skills.
- Analytical skills to track social media performance and inform strategy adjustments.
