What it's like to work here

You'll work as part of our small team of staff at the Beatles' Childhood Homes, reporting into our Welcome & Service Assistant Manager. You'll work alongside staff at Speke Hall as tours depart from this location, so you'll play a crucial role in making visitors to both locations have an enjoyable time with us. You'll be driving a simple, local route with plenty of break time built into the timetable.

What you'll be doing

As our Tour driver, you will provide visitors from around the world with first class customer service. You'll be responsible for transporting them to and from one of two pick up points and taking them to the childhood homes of Sir Paul McCartney & John Lennon where our tour guides will give them a fascinating insight into the birth of the Beatles.

Don't worry about being a tour guide: your role is to safely drive the bus and to make our visitors feel welcome. It's a fun role with lots of chances to chat to visitors from around the globe.

You'll be responsible for daily checks and cleanliness of our tour bus each day, as well as some basic IT work such as printing passenger lists and simple reporting of passenger figures.
