A opportunity to work as a Housing Officer with an immediate start!

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housing Officer to join our team Housing Register Assessment Team. In this role, you will assess housing register applications, determining eligibility and priority based on housing need. You will communicate effectively with applicants, providing guidance on housing policies and procedures, and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Full Time - 36 hours per week

Hybrid working

£13 - £14.50 Per Hour

Temporary Ongoing Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess housing register applications in line with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Liaise with applicants and partner agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and advice to those seeking housing assistance.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of housing legislation and assessment procedures.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in a similar housing role is desirable.
  • DBS Certificate is desirable
