ASA is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Cooks and Chefs to join our roster of professionals across various settings in Edinburgh. We work with a diverse range of clients, from hotels to care homes, offering opportunities in multiple environments.

Responsibilities:
- To prepare and cook well-balanced meals
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.).
- Cook food in various utensils and grillers.
- Maintain a clean and sanitised kitchen environment.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Monitor stock and place orders when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- Proven experience as a cook / Chef
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient, with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.
- Hold a valid Food Hygiene and Food Allergen Certificate
- CV covering 5 years work history
