Clerk of works needed in Bradford £45ph ref 5252702
Full time hours on a temporary basis.
- To undertake and assist in the supervision, administration and maintenance of civil engineering works ensuring compliance with latest engineering principles and standards, specification and design details having due regard to safety, work planning and budgetary control.
- To support the Senior/Principal Engineer in managing highway improvements and other schemes across the Bradford District. Sharing information and co-ordinating actions with other units. Working with other parties having an interest in transport provision in Bradford seeking to improve the District through an integrated approach.
- To take a leading responsibility for controlling the quality of construction work by drawing to the attention of contractor's staff the client's requirements in relation to workmanship and materials, advising them of any shortcomings and issuing instructions to contractors within the scope of delegated responsibility.
