The Company:
A well-known brand in the Insurance industry, this company has been providing replacement vehicles to taxi and private hire drivers nationwide since 1999. With a fleet of over 100 vehicles, most of which are less than a year old, the company is able to provide like-for-like vehicle replacement with its large wide service network, within hours of receiving the initial call.

The Role:
The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating fleet operations and ensuring compliance with safety and council regulations. The successful candidate will liaise with cross-hire providers, schedule and coordinate replacement vehicles, and monitor vehicle trackers effectively. The Fleet Coordinator will provide exceptional customer service, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all external interactions, and manage incoming fines. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of [insert salary] and benefits, including pension plan, team incentives, and 22 days annual leave. Hybrid/flexible working arrangements are available, with 2-3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities of the Fleet Coordinator:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls promptly and professionally
  • Use the online database and its specific features to record and monitor the vehicles on fleet
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is obtained and checked before arranging a replacement vehicle
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained, booked in for service/MOT/damage repairs within reasonable timelines
  • Schedule and coordinate replacement vehicles, from CVR fleet and cross hire providers

Required knowledge and experience for the Fleet Coordinator role:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • The ability to remain calm, focused and positive in challenging situations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
