Our client, a leading organization in their specialist field is seeking a Compliance Advisor - HGV Engineering to join their business on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to growth, our client is looking for a Compliance Advisor - HGV Engineering to join their team on a permanent basis, working closely with a knowledgeable team of Advisors in providing a high level of information and advice on operational and legislation issues within the logistics industry.
The successful Compliance Advisor will have an engineering background within Logistics / HGV and may be looking to transfer their skills into a more consultative, office-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to member enquiries on road transport compliance and operation
- Show that you are able to undertake and manage your own queries and client correspondence
- Ensure you stay up to date with the latest legislation and rules within the industry
- Provide a high level of support and compliance-related advice to members within the industry
- Ensure all members are up to speed with the latest rules and changes in legislation
Key Experience:
- Knowledge of road transport legal issues, holding a Certificate in Professional Competence in Road Haulage
- A commercial vehicle or public service vehicle mechanic / technician with appropriate education, qualifications and knowledge of legislation and other statutory industry requirements
- An analytical approach o to researching information
- Able to keep up to speed with the latest updates and changes in legislation
- Confident communicator able to liaise with colleagues, clients and third parties of all levels
