My close, International Law Firm client, are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to joint their fast growing Commercial Finance team! This is an incredible opportunity for someone with Pricing/Commercial experience to develop their career further and progress into a more business partner focussed role!
Responsibilities:
- Review performance, prepare forecasts, and monitor against business plans and budgets
- Manage key financial targets (billing, chargeable hours, recovery, profitability)
- Assist in producing management information packs with KPIs and commentaries
- Review operating results and performance of business units
- Support budgeting and planning cycles for fee-earning departments
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence for profitability analysis
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and project work
- Enhance reporting processes through simplification, automation, and visualisation
- Analyze large data sets and create structured reports
- Liaise with finance and business support teams
- Comply with SRA Standards and Regulations
Person Specification:
- Experience in the legal sector or partnership structure is desirable
- Understanding of P&L statements and profitability drivers
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Personable, confident, and able to build relationships
- Resilient and calm under pressure
- Adaptable, flexible, and proactive
