Senior Executive Assistant

A prestigious Business School based in the West End is seeking a highly experienced Senior Executive Assistant & EA Team Leader to join their Dean's Office on a 6-month temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and professional individual to provide high-level support to the team, mentor the EAs and streamline processes.

You will be working Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 5:00 (flexible hours), 3 days in office. My client is looking for a candidate to start within the next few weeks, if you are interested, please apply today.

What You Will Do

In this strategic role, you will take ownership of key processes, ensuring operational excellence and consistency across the administrative team.

Day to day:

  • Leading the development of new administrative processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Providing high-level executive support to the Dean and senior leadership, including diary management and meeting preparation
  • Offering mentorship and guidance to the EA team of three, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Standardising administrative practices to align with corporate and university standards
  • Supporting change management initiatives and restructuring efforts within the team
  • Acting as a liaison between senior leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders
  • Coordinating key projects, meetings, and events, ensuring a high standard of execution
  • Preparing high-quality briefings, synthesising information, and ensuring leadership is fully informed
  • Working closely with the Operations Director

Who You Are

We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You must have a wealth of experience as a Senior EA.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience as a Senior EA
  • Experience within the corporate space and higher education preferred
  • Experience managing/mentoring admin support staff
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Solid IT competency across Microsoft Office packages
  • Commitment and reliability to this role
