Pump Engineer required for our client, a Gloucestershire-based company that specialises in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a range of wastewater treatment systems across the south-west. Due to consistent expansion, our client is looking to bring on a Pump Engineer with previous experience within the wastewater industry to join their growing service department.
Pump Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £33,000 - £35,000
- Company van provided
- Door to door travel paid
- Working hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (45-hour week)
- 1 in 4 Saturday on call rota (paid £50 initially, plus a minimum of 4 hours at 1.5x if called out)
- Overtime available
The ideal Pump Engineer will have a background within the wastewater industry, and will be competent in completing servicing and maintenance works on wastewater systems such as sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, and rainwater harvesting systems, but our client will consider any candidates from a mechanical or electrical background who have experience within the water industry.
The role will be a completely mobile position covering domestic and commercial clients across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Worcestershire, and Bristol, with occasional travel outside of these areas.
Pump Engineer Position Requirements
- Previous experience installing and/or completing servicing/maintenance works on waste water equipment including sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, septic tanks, and pumps
- Experience working on wastewater system manufacturers such as Klargester, Marsh, WPL, and Tricel desirable, but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Electrical qualifications such as 17th/18th edition desirable, but not essential
- Tickets such as Confined Spaces and CSCS card desirable, but these will be provided if not
- Based within a one-hour commute of Gloucestershire
