A new exciting Dynamics Field Services Architect permanent role has become available with a leading UK housing association, where you will play a pivotal in designing and implementing technical solutions using Dynamics 365 Field Services.
Main Purpose of the Role
You will take on business challenges and craft appropriate technical solutions. Your responsibilities include the design, development, implementation, and service support of our Dynamics 365 Field Services systems. This hands-on role requires not only designing systems but also implementing them yourself. You will also mentor and lead a team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the creation of solution architecture designs to provide a secure, stable, and performant platform for our customers.
- Prioritize out-of-the-box functionality to ensure simplicity, ease of adoption, support, and upgrades.
- Maintain and update architecture documentation to reflect changes.
- Implement solutions following best practices, including error tracking and monitoring.
- Manage and develop a functional consultant, aligning work packages with business priorities.
- Oversee implementations and review outputs from technical and functional consultants to ensure alignment with architectural principles.
- Guide and mentor both technical and functional consultants.
- Lead investigations and resolve complex issues in collaboration with consultants, Microsoft, and third-party vendors.
- Facilitate demos and customer playbacks to showcase functionality.
Essential and desirable experience:
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Dynamics 365 Field Services and Field Service Mobile solutions.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (preferably TypeScript), C#, RESTful Web APIs, SQL (preferably T-SQL), and Microsoft Power Platform services.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., TFS or Git).
- Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Certification or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of HTML, .NET/ASP.NET, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Sales, and Marketing. - Familiarity with Microsoft Azure principles and security.
- A degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. - ITIL foundation certification is a plus.
