Are you passionate about teaching English in a nurturing, student-focused environment? We're looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join our team. This role offers the chance to work with small class sizes, limited to 12 students, allowing you to provide tailored and impactful learning experiences.
Our students face various challenges, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. We embrace a 'can't do yet' philosophy, promoting resilience and growth. As part of our trauma-informed school, you'll receive extensive therapeutic training and support, equipping you to meet the unique needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a broad English curriculum across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and Functional Skills levels.
- Develop strong, supportive relationships with students to motivate and inspire them.
- Collaborate with education and therapy professionals, parents/carers, and local authorities to secure exceptional outcomes.
- Contribute to both the academic curriculum and extra-curricular activities as part of a dynamic team.
