About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service and Account Manager to join our dynamic team based in Kelvedon, Essex. This role requires an enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients and suppliers. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, adept in multitasking, and capable of building strong relationships to enhance client engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, ensuring client inquiries and issues are addressed with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Account Management: Oversee the accounts of current clients, ensuring their needs are met, and opportunities for upselling and account growth are identified and pursued.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with daily tasks, contributing to the overall achievement of sales targets.
  • Customer Retention: Focus on customer engagement strategies and initiatives aimed at retaining existing clients.
  • Order Processing: Manage and process orders for current clients efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties as needed, including file management, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Team Coverage: Provide cover for staff absences due to sickness or annual leave to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other duties as may be required by the board of directors.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in customer service and/or account management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Additional Information:

  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm
  • £26,000 to £28,000 dependant on experience
  • Commission structure available
  • Own transport preferred due to the location of the office
