Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be working with a market-leading business based in Bakewell, as they look to appoint a progressive & highly enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a 5-6 month basis to cover maternity leave.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include:
- Support the Group finance team in the preparation of monthly management accounts for both the profit and loss and balance sheet
- Management Accountant responsibility for smaller entities within the Group
- Assist in the preparation of the Group tax computations
- Preparation of VAT returns, and Gift Aid Submissions
- Prepare weekly performance analysis and reviews, KPI's, and ad hoc performance analysis
Key Skills & Experience needed:
- New/part qualified accountant
- Previous accounting experience
- Knowledge of financial systems
- IT literate, including Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational skills
- Able to prioritise work and work to strict deadlines
