Pertemps are supporting our client based in Tamworth who are recruiting for a Sales Executive who is a dynamic individual and has a passion for sales on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Sales Executive you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. If you're a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills this may be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively initiate outbound phone calls to leads in our enquiry database to create sales opportunities through understanding customer needs.
- Initiate contact with leads through personalised communication to understand their needs and educate them about the products or services.
- Follow up with leads consistently to maintain engagement and move them through the sales process.
- Take inbound sales calls and add them to our enquiry database.
- Generate and send new sales estimates.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Keep detailed records of sales activities, including interactions with leads and customers, using CRM software.
- Coordinate with other members of the sales team and cross-functional departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Share best practices and collaborate on strategies to optimise sales performance.
- Be able to prioritise key tasks such as call backs, estimate generation.
- Ensure a prompt response to all inbound customer enquiries; from the web, phone, and email, whilst providing excellent customer service and nurturing them through the onboarding process.
Skills required:
- A proven track record of success in sales roles, consistently meeting and exceeding targets. Direct experience in B2C sales.
- Proven ability to influence sales in an organisation.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Resilience to handle rejection and setbacks, maintaining a positive attitude and motivation to persist in achieving sales goals.
- PC Literate, with a sound knowledge of Microsoft.
- Ability to work as part of a team, working towards team goals and establish effective working relationships within a team.
In return:
Working Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Salary £23,000 per annum.
