Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated School Administrator to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front office. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front office operations, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and handling inquiries
- Provide administrative support to the Headteacher and other school staff.
- Maintain student records and update databases accurately
- Coordinate school events and meetings, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place
- Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages
- Assist with the admissions process, including scheduling tours and processing applications
- Manage school supplies and inventory
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for students, parents, and staff
Experience Required
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have experience working in School Administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management
- High level of motivation and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
- A commitment to the ethos and values of our school community
