Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated School Administrator to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front office. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front office operations, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and handling inquiries
  • Provide administrative support to the Headteacher and other school staff.
  • Maintain student records and update databases accurately
  • Coordinate school events and meetings, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place
  • Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages
  • Assist with the admissions process, including scheduling tours and processing applications
  • Manage school supplies and inventory
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for students, parents, and staff

Experience Required

  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must have experience working in School Administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management
  • High level of motivation and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
  • A commitment to the ethos and values of our school community
