Location: Southwest London

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 per annum based on experience

Job Purpose: My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient handling of all inbound and outbound goods at their SW London manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage, control, and movement of materials within the site, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders. The role will involve leading a team to ensure products are boxed, labelled, palletised, and loaded efficiently, while monitoring stock levels and to ensure stock availability. In addition, you will manage SAP transactions and maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping across the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inbound inspections and acceptance of goods, ensuring raw material and finished goods meet quality standards.
  • Oversee the packing and despatch of goods to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
  • Monitor raw material stock levels, ensuring accuracy through regular stock counts.
  • Manage SAP transactions related to production, stock counting, and goods issuing.
  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team to meet productivity targets.
  • Maintain and manage the company's Quality Management System and promote a positive food safety culture within the business.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and other internal auditing standards.
  • Manage hygiene and housekeeping practices in stock holding areas.

Measures and KPIs:

  • Wastage and shortage reports.
  • Customer complaints.
  • Internal audit scores.
  • Timely task completion.

Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a production or warehouse environment coupled with strong IT skills.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams from operator to team leader level.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills across multiple departments.
  • Strong administrative abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and multi-task effectively.
