We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a gentleman in Liverpool with everyday tasks such as shopping and cooking, while promoting independence. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, patient, and has a genuine desire to make a positive impact on someone's life.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist with daily tasks including shopping, cooking, and other household duties.
- Provide companionship and support with activities that enhance the individual's quality of life.
- Encourage and assist in maintaining independence in various aspects of daily living.
- Accompany the individual to appointments and social activities as required.
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behaviour.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be a car driver with a valid driving licence.
- Minimum of 6 months UK experience in a similar support worker role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and caring nature.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the individual's needs.
- A commitment to promoting the individual's dignity, independence, and well-being.
