RPG Analyst Programmer - remote options available

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of in-house business systems.
- Collaborate with senior directors, advising on future system direction and improvements.
- Provide user support and troubleshooting for day-to-day issues regarding business systems and IBM i.
- Operate with autonomy, using your initiative to find solutions to problems and challenges.
Essential Skills:
- Strong in-depth programming skills.
- Proven experience in system analysis and design.
- Confidence in communicating with senior management and end users alike.
- Up-to-date RPG IV/ILE programming skills.
- Proficiency in SQL.
Desirable skills:
- Experience with modern development tools such as IBM RDi or Visual Studio Code with Code for IBM i extension.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
- Knowledge or understanding of accounting and payroll systems.
- Knowledge of Node.js or other open-source languages.
- Experience with web design and development, including HTML and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Office 365, and AWS.
