Regional Support Manager

We are seeking a Regional Support Manager covering the East of England.

This is a field-based role working for our client, a leading provider of both nursing and residential care homes. You will be responsible for supporting their care & nursing homes, predominately covering Suffolk & Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and Mentor Managers and Staff: Cultivate a positive, inclusive work culture that promotes growth and professional development.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and business growth, identifying areas for improvement to meet financial goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Develop action plans to meet regulatory standards and manage risks effectively.
  • Quality Care Assessment: Regularly review care delivery, implementing necessary improvements for optimal care.
  • Resident Well-Being: Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive living environment for residents.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and other metrics to measure and enhance outcomes consistently.

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse (NMC) with post-registration experience
  • Experienced in managing a care home or similar healthcare setting
  • Thorough understanding of financial management, compliance, and regulatory standards in the care home sector
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable in best practices for quality care and creating a supportive environment for elderly residents
