Technical Support Representative - Fire and Life Safety
What are we looking for:
We are looking for a Technical Support Representative to provide in-depth technical support for our Fire and Life Safety products globally. You'll address customer queries, deliver training, and ensure product issues are resolved efficiently.
What will you be doing:
- Support internal and external stakeholders with technical issues related to our Fire and Life Safety portfolio.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or Teams.
- Maintain detailed logs of technical interactions for KPI reporting.
- Generate reports and feed information into the quality system for review.
- Collaborate with the Sales team on product applications and system design.
- Deliver comprehensive training to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Recreate product faults and test scenarios.
- Build test rigs and follow test scripts for product verification.
What do we need from you:
- Experience in the Life Safety industry, especially in Customer Support or Engineering.
- Knowledge of life safety systems, with a track record in servicing and commissioning.
- Understanding of BS5839-pt1, BS5839-8, BS5839-9, and EN-54 standards.
