Senior Client Services Officer

We have been assigned with recruiting for a Senior Client Services Officer position at an independently owned professional services firm that is expanding its operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with at least 3 years of experience in Trust who are looking to join a dynamic firm with a strong reputation.

Relocation to Guernsey is also an option, with full support for work permits and licenses provided.

Purpose of Role:

  • Responsible for administering a portfolio of companies and trusts.
  • Provide professional services in line with policies, procedures, and local regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administration

  • Manage a portfolio of key clients, including complex structures and various asset classes.
  • Uphold corporate governance practices for companies and trust clients.
  • Prioritise and handle client requests efficiently.
  • Communicate with clients and intermediaries to exchange information.
  • Ensure accurate account reviews and clear any queries.
  • Facilitate smooth completion of credit facilities and guarantees.
  • Document purchases and sales of investments, ensuring transaction completion per company policies.
  • Oversee investment monitoring, action completion, and signing off minutes.
  • Manage entity banking/brokerage facilities, ensuring timely transaction actions.
  • Monitor and oversee client expense payments

Commercial Management

  • Complete timesheets ensuring accurate time capture for correct and timely billing.
  • Review debtors, liaising with finance for prompt collection.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators to achieve targets.
  • Review monthly/quarterly Work in Progress (WIP) reports.
  • Assess client relationships for commercial viability and identify new opportunities.

Staff Management

  • Support administrators in managing complex client issues.
  • Participate in mentoring team administrators.

Client Services Management

  • Execute action points from client entity reviews.
  • Review accounts and liaise with the Client Services Director(s).
  • Coordinate with the client accounting department on issues/queries.
  • Ensure timely completion of tax filings/reporting for client entities.
  • Maintain and update company records.
