Procurement Data and Reporting Lead - Energy/Utilities

Do you want to be part of the UK's Carbon Neutral future? we are looking for dynamic and passionate Procurement Data Lead to work in the in the Procurement Centre of Excellence team of this exciting programme.

The Procurement Data and Reporting Lead will play a vital role in leading data analysis, driving data-driven decision-making and ensuring transparency and efficiency in the procurement process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the energy sector and public sector procurement (UCR 2016 and PCR 2015/Procurement Act 2023)

You will have proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and will come from a Public Sector or Utilities background and have worked in a Procurement Data Lead role on major transformation projects.

Key Skills -

  • Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Cataloguing, and Master Data Management. You will support the Centre of Excellence team driving adoption of data management with Agile methodology.
  • A performance mindset, you'll possess advanced data analysis skills and have expert proficiency in the development of Power BI dashboards including SQL Querying.
  • Create excel templates, train colleagues, and provide support to standardise the performance data.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Design, implement and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supplier risk management.
  • Experience in process improvement and project management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and implement a reporting framework to track and analyse procurement data
  • Proficient in - SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI)

This role will require 2 days per week in the office - this location can be flexible, Bristol, Midlands or Berkshire
