Grid Connection Manager
Hybrid pattern with a Milton Keynes Office- Only needed in 2 days every 2 weeks.

Salary is DOE- Up to £100,000

For the last 15 years, this group has been on a mission to provide a full turnkey service for solar PV assets. They're a driven and focused group, on a simple mission; to make a long term contribution to the switch to green energy.
They now operate from early stage through construction and even operations, with having 1GW of assets across the UK and Europe. They have a further 5GW of projects in development and are looking for a grid manager to lead this existing pipeline of projects as well as to establish additional pipeline.
The role:
You'd be working hand in hand with the country manager and development mangers for overall project development. These projects vary, between transmission and distribution level connection agreements. They are also split between solar PV and BESS as well as collocated sites.
The main responsibility include-
- Advising the wider team on project identification through site-finding stages, points of connections and optimising these agreements.
- Working through feasibility stages for project viability and completing technical due diligence for these projects. This will include liaising with DNOs and TSOs for connection agreements, offers and agreements.
- You'll be responsible for stakeholder management, working closely with several different groups through project development.
- Advising on any changes or developments in network operators activities.
