Role: Warehouse Operative (Nights)
Pay Rate: £13.50ph
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday 22:00PM - 06:00AM (Nights)
Duration: Ongoing Temp to Perm
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with one of our prestigious clients based in Nottingham, NG8. This will be an ongoing temp to perm position working as a warehouse operative on the night shift.
- Picking, Checking, Packing, and Dispatching Client orders.
- Working with scanners to complete orders and preparing them for delivery.
- Checking goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damage paying specific attention to stock condition
- Replenishment of stock shelves - forward stock shelves
- Inputting delivery notes into the company's WMS system, ensuring detailed and accurate input of data; matching the correct Purchase order details
- Promptly identifying and reporting any shortages, picking errors, or damages in stock
- Record overstock, label and palletise in the pallet racking locations.
- Accurately and securely putting away / moving stock via manual handling, pallet trucks and forklift trucks
- Ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded
- Participating in cyclical stock checks where required
- Processing returns
- Other general warehousing operative duties
The ideal candidates for this role will:
- Have a good understanding of written and verbal English
- Have a very high attention to detail (essential to the nature of work)
- Able to work efficiently and at pace
- Have Warehouse Operative experience
- Have excellent time keeping
- Have previously worked in a warehouse environment
- Be able to follow instructions accurately
- Have a willingness to learn and work under minimal supervision
- Have a positive attitude towards work.
