Health & Safety Compliance Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety and Compliance Manager based in Cambridgeshire for one of our well-established clients on a full time permanent basis. This is a brand new role and we are looking for someone who relishes a challenge and will thrive in an autonomous role. Predominantly based in Cambridgeshire, you will be required to travel across other company sites including into London from time to time.

Responsibilities of the Health & Safety and Compliance Manager

  • Ensure Health, safety and compliance policies and practices are adhered to and up to date.
  • Site visits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory HSE policies and practices.
  • Identify training needs and arrange training as required.
  • Produce and update compliance and HSE reports.
  • Report on profiling energy, water consumption and waste generation data.
  • Carry out investigations, accident reporting and COSHH.
  • Oversee GHG protocol.

Requirements for a successful Health & Safety and Compliance Manager

  • Degree within a relevant subject
  • NEBOSH and COSHH qualifications
  • Extensive experience within a H&S and compliance role previously
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
