Despatch & Stock Controller - Neath
We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our Production team in Neath as a Despatch & Stock Controller!
This full-time, permanent role will involve ensuring accurate inventory, timely stock orders, and efficient despatch to our clients. Working closely with our Production Manager and Finance teams, the successful candidate will play a very hands-on role in managing storerooms, raising Purchase Orders, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Organisation and attention to detail are key in this position, which will also involve supporting our MRP system and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Ideally, you would of worked in an manufacturing environment.
What you will be doing
- Responsible for the liaison couriers to arrange the despatch of stock.
- Ensure all goods out are labelled correctly for shipping
- Manage goods-in process.
- Support stock counts for all locations.
- Responsible for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
- Our 'go to' for all supplier query management including quotes, prices, and lead times.
- Own the goods in and out process and related KPIs.
- Managing a small team.
What we are looking for
- Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Outlook etc)
- Good understanding of H&S at work / manual handling
- Undertaking accurate stock and PI Counts.
- Experience raising Purchase Orders.
- IOSH Managing Safety or similar certification
- Experience of using an MRP (Microsoft D365)
