Business Development Executive

The Opportunity:

Nigel Wright Group is pleased to be supporting a growing and leading healthcare solutions provider in their search for Business Development Executives. Our client partners with the customers within the primary care sector and delivers end-to-end, tech-enabled services to help them transform the way they operate. The BDE roles will proactively prospect and engage with new clients through a variety of business development outreach methods, maximising warmer marketing qualified leads as well self-generating opportunities. The client is headquartered in Bradford and these are full time office-based roles. Up to £40k basic with uncapped commission

Role Profile:

  • Proactively generate and pursue new business opportunities through a mix of warm leads and outbound outreach.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and pitching to negotiation and closing—with support from the Board.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, both virtually and in person.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and pipeline progress using HubSpot CRM.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the services by collaborating closely with the leadership team.
  • Represent the business at national events, webinars, and exhibitions to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Produce regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and performance against KPIs.

Person Specification:

  • Proven B2B sales success, ideally within healthcare, public sector, or recruitment, with a consistent track record of exceeding targets and managing full sales cycles.
  • Consultative and strategic sales approach, with the ability to tailor solutions to client needs and confidently close high-value deals.
  • Strong CRM proficiency, especially with HubSpot, and confident use of MS Office and social media platforms for outreach and engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence, persuade, and build lasting relationships.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Commercially aware and tech-savvy, with up-to-date knowledge of business development trends, marketing strategies, and digital tools.
