Come and be a part of our aspirational learning community and help maximise the development of every child. At Anglesey Primary Academy, we want our children to become respectful, resilient and responsible learners in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where a strong sense of belonging and identity is valued in the school and broader community.

Anglesey is a larger-than-average primary school in Burton-on-Trent, and over 35 languages are spoken by the student population.

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated EYFS Learning and Teaching Assistant to work in partnership with teaching and other educational support staff. You will need to be caring, enthusiastic, and flexible, with the ability to work under the direction of the class teacher, and you will also need to use your own initiative. The successful candidate will support the child, enabling them to access the Curriculum successfully. Working as part of a small team requires a teaching assistant who is adaptable and able to work collaboratively with members of the school and the wider community.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education and experience working with children in a school environment. Knowledge of specific learning difficulties and various strategies to support children would be advantageous.
