Are you looking for a new exciting role in a friendly warehouse in Polegate as a Warehouse Assistant? Working as part of a team, you will be able to help out in every aspect of the warehouse including receiving incoming goods to preparing shipping labels. A forklift licence is an advantage.
Job duties of the Warehouse Assistant are to:
- Receive goods into the warehouse, ensuring that stock is updated correctly.
- Pick, pack and ship goods.
- Prepare shipping labels.
- Use a forklift truck to ensure that storage is used to maxim efficiency.
- Help with stock takes.
- Assisting the Warehouse Manager with technical tasks
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse at all times.
Skills and experience required for the Warehouse Assistant are:
- Forklift licence or the ability to acquire.
- Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of the team.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Computer literacy, data input required onto CRM system and produce shipping labels.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Honesty and trustworthiness.
- Previous warehouse experience.
