The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in payroll and accounting software systems.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients and processing payrolls.
- Uploading pension contributions to a variety of workplace pension schemes.
- Processing starters and new leavers.
- Answering questions from clients which require an understanding of tax, NI, pension calculations etc.
- Handling statutory calculations such as SMP, SPP, SSPetc.
- Setting up new clients within the payroll software.
- Career advancement opportunities.
Experience
- Proven experience in a payroll administration role or similar position is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Familiarity with payroll software is essential.
- Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy.
