This London based County Council are looking to engage the services of a very experienced individual who has lead previous end to end Procurement activity delivering similar public Health/Social Services within the Public sector. With demonstrable and relevant procurement legislation and processes experience primary duties will include:- To lead on the procurement delivery of a first-generation contract for a Stop Smoking Service (SSS) that aligns with the Council's objectives of improving the health of the population whilst reducing health inequalities. To also lead on the procurement of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) for the 5 Local Authorities of North Central London (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington). Applicants must have the ability to work effectively within local authority governance regime, as well as working with various stakeholders within the council. This role will be predominantly remote working, but maybe required to attend meetings where required.
