Position: Lead Learning Support Assistant
Type: Temporary with the potential to become Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of Learning Support Assistants.
- Allocate and monitor work, conduct appraisals, and provide ongoing training.
- Successfully line manage a team, including recruitment, induction, and training.
- Oversee rota management and ensure effective communication.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN), including those with ASD and ADHD.
- Consistently respond to and support individual student needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role with strong management skills.
- Confidence, enthusiasm, and a passion for supporting staff.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate recruitment, induction, training, and rota management.
- Experience in SEN, particularly with ASD and ADHD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
