Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: Stanford-le-Hope

Remuneration: Competitive salary based on experience

Contract Details: Full-time, permanent position

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including interviews and reference checks.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee on boarding activities, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR database.
  • Draught various letters, memos, and documentation as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, programmes, and policies.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating training sessions and meetings.
  • Support HR and HSE projects and research assignments.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment and HR best practises.

Qualifications: CIPD Diploma Level 3 or 5. Previous HR or administrative experience is beneficial but not always required.

As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative tasks and operational support to the HR department. Your assistance with recruitment, on boarding, record-keeping, and general HR operations will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the HR team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

You will work closely with the HR Manager and Directors, reporting to them and supporting their initiatives, programmes, and policies. Your organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.
