An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and knowledgeable business development professional to join the supportive Business Development & Marketing team of a London based, specialist law firm.
The successful applicant will be joining at an exciting time for the firm, following the recent launch of a refreshed brand and a new website which are an important part of an ambitious marketing and business development strategy. You will be instrumental in bringing the brand to life, by supporting the firm to build closer connections with contacts and clients and delivering exceptional results through your BD initiatives. The firm are seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Business Development & Marketing Executive to support the Corporate and Tax partners and associates in the development and implementation of the firm's business development and marketing strategy that aligns with the firm's objectives and growth targets in the Corporate and Tax sectors. Working closely with the Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager, you will develop and monitor the marketing and BD budget and report on BD activities, measuring their impact and effectiveness to inform future strategies. Conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement, you will support fee earners in the development and implementation of their personal BD plans, support the lawyers in the Corporate and Tax teams to build and maintain relationships and lead the creation of compelling and competitive proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and firm capabilities. On the marketing side, you will support the team on the design and implementation of campaigns, including research and content, and support the work of the Events and Digital teams, maintaining the momentum of campaigns once launched by assisting fee earners to engage with the campaign and generate business leads. In addition, the role holder will manage internal and external communications and marketing materials and coordinate award application processes and support on the submission process and promotion of key legal directories.
A strong team player who is accurate and thorough, the ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development, ideally gained within the legal or professional services sector, to include demonstrable success in leading the creation of compelling and competitive proposals. Organised and detailed oriented with good prioritisation skills and the ability to manage time efficiently, the Senior Business Development & Marketing Executive will possess developed communication and interpersonal skills and will enjoy liaising with internal clients and colleagues and external media, suppliers and consultants. Previous experience using Vuture is also highly desirable.
