Systems Lead – Low Code/ Power Platform
Our client is engaged in a number of joint venture projects and is looking for a Systems Lead to join them in the UK. This role is crucial for enhancing their IT systems, optimising business processes, and driving forward their digital transformation initiatives. As a Systems Lead, you will be at the forefront of implementing strategic tools and applications to achieve process automation and efficiency gains, helping their business maintain a competitive edge.
This role will be customer facing and experience working in joint venture environments, within the civil engineering/construction sector is essential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Spearhead the pursuit of system-driven excellence within the organisation.
- Capture and articulate short, medium, and long-term business requirements.
- Facilitate feedback sessions with users and process owners to align system functionality with evolving business needs.
- Manage seamless transitions for business-as-usual changes and provide adaptable support based on operational needs.
- Lead the coordination of project resources, including internal teams and external vendors.
- Create and disseminate training resources, offering support and guidance to enhance user engagement with system tools and improve data analytics capabilities.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of ‘low code' application solutions in line with the group's architectural framework.
- Develop and uphold uniform solutions across their suite of approved applications.
- Design and implement workflows and process automation to streamline operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A strong technical foundation, capable of dissecting complex issues and formulating effective solutions.
- Proficient in ICT system management, including development, testing, and implementation phases.
- A track record of effective stakeholder engagement, with the ability to simplify complex technical details for diverse audiences.
- A practical, results-oriented mindset, balancing ideal outcomes with the realities of immediate business needs.
- Demonstrated adaptability within a fast-paced, globally integrated yet non-centralised business setting.
- Familiarity with low code and process automation tools, such as Power Platform & Nintex, is highly desirable.
