Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an international vehicle technology business to add a successful Business Development Manager to their team.

The role will be to manage and grow business with OEMs and Wholesalers. This role is a balance of account management and new business development, giving you the opportunity to nurture existing relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with dealerships, OEMs, and wholesalers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate sales within the automotive sector.
  • Manage existing accounts to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate the market and meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and client service.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive vehicle build / M&E.
  • Be a strong relationship builder with the ability to spot gaps and grow business year on year.
  • Proven experience in business development and account management within the automotive sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical automotive products.
  • Ability to develop long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel.
