In this position, as a Management Accountant you will be producing the management packs for senior management, posting journals such as accruals and prepayments as well as being directly involved with the budgeting and forecasting. You will also be completing comprehensive analysis on different entities within the organisation, understanding their profitability and providing detailed insight to senior management. One of the responsibilities will be working with non-financial stakeholders, so it will be important to have previous experience with communicating financial findings in a manner which they will be able to understand.
Skills Required
- To have an excellent style of communication, in this role you will be interacting with external stakeholders, so it will be essential for you to have an ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
- To be confident in your own ability, you may have to rely on your experience to make difficult decisions regarding budgeting and prioritising. This will require a level of self-assurance in your work.
- To have experience working as a Management Accountant or related role in which you have completed Management packs for senior management and completed month end tasks such as posting accruals and prepayments and reconciling Banks and Balance Sheets.
- To have experience with interacting with non-financial stakeholders, it is important to have experience communicating effectively in a manner which non-financial individuals can understand.
