Accounts/Office Manager

We are currently working alongside a very successful family business in Blackpool who are looking for an?Accounts/Office Administration to work within their busy finance department. The business is a well-recognised brand and has a strong presence across the Northwest, due to workload they now need to recruit in this newly created position.

The role of Accounts/Office Administration will incorporate the following skills and responsibilities: -

Skills

  • Able to work within a team or individually with minimal supervision
  • Great IT and analytical skills
  • Flexible / adaptable to move between roles / tasks / neighbouring sites depending on priority

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the sales team with administration including booking transport and logistics for goods.
  • Preparing / Filing customs documentations around import/export.
  • Supporting compliance manager with legal compliance and government documentation.
  • Processing purchase orders for the buying team and matching up with stock balances.
  • Providing cover for office staff across multiple sites.
  • Processing COD's (Certificate of Destruction) on a DVLA portal for end-of-life vehicles.
